SOME SEED GROWING FACTS - Willow Creek Farm

The exciting thing about growing from seeds is that the flower they produce is 100% unique - every time.

PLEASE NOTE: Unlike tubers, Seeds produce dahlia plants that are not clones of the parent plant.

When you grow from seed that’s open-pollinated by our local bees, you never quite know what you're going get and that’s the FUN part. They take on characteristics of the parent and their neighbouring plants; it’s all about the bees and their activities.

Cast your eye on a few new varieties below that came from our Cafe Au Lait seeds.
