100 x mixed Cosmos seeds of what we grow on the farm.
Cosmos, a childhood favourite these child-like whimsical flowers certainly make you smile.
Producing captivating single flowers with hues of pink and white. Some have pale-pink stripes, while others feature white petals with a pink edge, blooming from early summer until autumn. Each flower possesses a distinct colour variation, ranging from light pink at the tips to pure white at the core.
Tips to Grow:
Cosmos can be grown in poor and dry soils, but you will get the best result if you pay some attention to it.
Disease and cold-resistant they can tolerate mild frosts. Transplants well.
Seeds are large enough and can be grown by direct seeding once the soil temperature warms up. They’re also a prolific self-seeders!
Pinch the main stem at 25-30 cm height to encourage branching and bloom production.
I recommend staking or supporting these plants if you're in a windy zone. Subsequent deadheading is recommended to keep the plant blooming.
